Every metric on this page is measured from the platform side — availability, throughput, completion time, service level. Reveille User Analytics (RUA) measures the other side: the experience your platforms actually delivered. RUA is patented, passive real-user observability for Enterprise Content Management (ECM), Intelligent Document Processing (IDP), and automation applications. It observes the real HTTP and HTTPS transactions your users generate — every login, retrieval, check-in, and API call — and turns them into response-time evidence, security insight, and adoption truth. It extends Reveille Metrics from what the platform reports to what your users experienced.

Response-time evidence, not anecdotes

Median, average, and 90th-percentile response times measured from actual user transactions — with service-level attainment reported across all transactions and for the best and worst 10%. Response-time conversations start from a record, not a complaint.

Security signals hidden in normal traffic

Insider misuse looks like ordinary logins and retrievals — just more of them, from somewhere new. RUA flags suspicious content access by transaction frequency, user location, and access activity, and surfaces failed and suspicious logins by user and location.

Adoption you can actually prove

User adoption dashboards show who uses each application and how usage trends over time, backed by objective historical reporting on real transaction activity — so license, training, and rollout decisions rest on evidence instead of who complained loudest.

How it works

RUA captures web application packets with licensed capture libraries, parses them against application transaction profiles, and maps them into user-level transactions.

  • Passive collection from a switch mirror/span port, hypervisor port mirroring, a network segment, the application server itself, or a Docker sidecar in Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, or RedHat OpenShift
  • HTTP and HTTPS monitored together — decoded passively with your private key (RSA up to 4096-bit, TLS 1.2), never as a man-in-the-middle interceptor
  • Privacy by design — no user passwords are ever captured, field-level keep/drop rules govern sensitive data, and collector-to-server traffic is 256-bit AES encrypted
  • Application transaction profiles ship for eight platform families — ABBYY, Box, Hyland, IBM, Microsoft, OpenText, Tungsten Automation, and UiPath

Yes. Reveille shares metric data through native connectors to Microsoft Power BI with trusted data connectors and report templates, and exposes over 170 REST API methods using OAuth 2 — so metrics flow into the analytics and observability tools your team already uses.
How does Reveille set thresholds on metrics?
Reveille AI applies open-source Prophet and Neural Prophet models (MIT-licensed) to historical metric data to forecast dynamic upper and lower thresholds, replacing brittle static thresholds and reducing alert fatigue. Forecast accuracy is tracked with MAPE (Mean Absolute Percentage Error).
Does collecting metrics add load or risk to my platform?
No. Reveille is a zero-footprint, application-aware solution that does not change the state of, or hold a persistent connection to, the measured system. User-experience metrics use passive, out-of-band collection — not a man-in-the-middle proxy — and no user passwords are captured.
Where are metrics stored, and can it run in the cloud?
Reveille stores metric data in SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL — with MongoDB for high-volume user-analytics retention — and runs on-premises or in AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including managed databases such as Amazon RDS, Azure SQL, and Google Cloud SQL, with sidecar collectors in Amazon EKS, Azure AKS, and RedHat OpenShift.
