About the Import/Export Wizard

The Import/Export wizard enables you to import and export data items from one database system to another. The data is written to an XML file and can be optionally compressed.

This section covers the following:

• Importing items the following items from a datasource: credentials, employees, Metrics, Monitors, Monitor Groups, paging providers, parameters, schedules, scorecards, and support groups.
• Exporting the following items to a file: credentials, employees, Metrics, Monitors, Monitor Groups, paging providers, parameters, schedules, scorecards, and support groups.
• Importing items from a previously exported file.
• Exporting all items for the Reveille server in one export file - select all types.
