Exporting Monitor Groups to a File

Using the Import/Export wizard you are able to export Monitor definitions to an export file.

To export Monitors to a file using the Import/Export wizard, follow these steps:

1. On the File menu, select Import/Export Wizard. The Import/Export wizard activates and the Select Import/Export Action wizard window appears.
2. Select Export to a file, and click Next.  The Select Type of Data to Export wizard window appears.
3. Select Monitor Groups, and click Next.  The Select Items to Export wizard window appears.
4. Select the Monitor Groups to export. You can select all the items by clicking Select All. Clicking Select None clears all selected items. The date/time and the name of the exported file(s) are added to the Comments box.

To enable data compressing, select Compress Output File.

5. Click Next. The Select Output File wizard window and the file to be exported appears.
6. Click Export.  The Export Progress window appears, showing the progress of the operation.
7. Click Finish.
