Message Performance

The Protocols: Message Performance page displays the protocol performance as measured in response time. The data is displayed in chart form in the upper part of the page, and in table form in the lower part.

The Data Chart

The data shown in the chart is controlled by options selected in the data table. You can zoom in on an area of the chart by clicking and dragging the area. Click Restore to the return the chart to the default zoom level.

The Data Table

The following data is displayed in the table for each protocol:

  • Chart. Select the check box to display data for this protocol in the chart.
  • Count. Displays the message count.
  • Response Times (seconds) Average. Displays the response time average in seconds.
  • Response Times (seconds) Low. Displays the response time low in seconds.
  • Response Times (seconds) High. Displays the response time high in seconds.
  • SLA Threshold. Displays the response time threshold. You can define this value on the Settings page.
  • Chart Average. Select the check box to display the protocol's average SLA value in the chart.
  • Chart Minimum. Select the check box to display the protocol's minimum SLA value in the chart.
  • Chart Maximum. Select the check box to display the protocol's maximum SLA value in the chart.
  • Chart Threshold. Select the check box to display the protocol's threshold SLA value in the chart.

Configuration Options

Configuration options are available by clicking the Settings button, located in the upper right corner of the page. The Settings page enables you to do the following:

  • Time Range. Select Today, or specify a number of days or hours.
  • SLA Settings. Define the threshold response time for messages for each protocol.
  • Click when you are finished to close the Settings page.
