Alert Settings
The Alert Settings page enables you to select the destinations for alert notification.
Display the Alert Settings page by clicking Administration > Alerts.
Local Windows Event Log
Write application/system error. Select to enable local Windows Event Log.
Event Log Name. Enter the name of the Event Log.
Event Log Source. Enter the source for the Event Log.
Email application/system error. Select to send an alert to the specified recipient.
Recipient Email Address. Address of recipient.
Sending Email Address. The sender's e-mail address.
Remote Windows Event Log
Write application/system error. Select to send alerts to the Windows Event Log of the specified server.
Remote Server Name. Enter the name of the remote server.
User Name. (Used for impersonation) User Name for logging on to the remote server. The Windows account must exist as a local account on both the Reveille User Analytics Server and the remote server for Windows impersonation to work correctly.
Password and confirmation. Password for the User Name used for impersonation.
Buttons
Save. Click to implement any changes. A confirmation will be shown.
Cancel. Click to reload the page with its original values.
Test. Sends an alert using the current settings. A message will appear at the top of the page if the alert was sent successfully.
