Migrate Reveille 8

The Reveille migration utility will migrate the Reveille database during an ‘in-place’ Reveille 6.x/7.x/8.x upgrade or when installing Reveille 8 on a new Reveille server.

The summary steps for a successful migration include:

Backup the existing Reveille 6.x/7.x/8.x database and programs directories.
Perform the migration for the Reveille database and server using the Reveille Database Migration Utility. The utility updates the Reveille 6.x/7.x/8.x database tables and data to support Reveille 8.
Validate the migration results using the Reveille Database Verify Utility.

NoteReveille 5.x must be migrated separately before the installation of Reveille 8. Contact Reveille Support at reveille.support@reveillsoftware.com to discuss.

Reveille 5.x monitor exports cannot be imported into Reveille 8 because of the Reveille 8 database modifications.

Reveille 6.x/7.x/8.x monitor exports can be imported into Reveille 8.
