Kofax Capture Remote Site Component

The remote site component enables you to test the Kofax Capture Remote Site availability and processing.

Test Platform

Settings Page

Select what to test.  Select the type of remote site Test:

• Remote Site connectivity
• Remote Site currency
• Remote site has successfully downloaded batch classes within the configured polling interval
• Batch Count for overall system is too high

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Community.  Enter the community string used to authenticate SNMP packets, default is ‘public’.

Database Settings. Enter the ODBC DSN Name and authentication information.

Host Name.  Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the target computer.

Local Port.  Enter the User Datagram Protocol (UDP) port in the local host to where the SNMP Manager is bound, default port is 0.

Object Identifier (OID). Enter the MIB OID for Kofax Capture Enterprise, default is this value.

Remote Port. Enter the UDP port where the remote SNMP agent is listening. (Default port is 161.)

System Queue Count. Enter the maximum threshold value for total batches at the remote site.

Test Definition Page

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description.  Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.
