Kofax Front Office Server MFP Device Connectivity Component

The Kofax Front Office Server MFP Connectivity component enables you to test the Kofax Front Office Server MFP connectivity for MFP devices.

Test Connectivity

Settings Page

Select what to test:

• MFP device can be pinged
• MFP device status
• MFP device errors

Computer Name. Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the target KFS computer running the KFS web service.

Credentials. Enter the Kofax user account credentials to access the KFS web service.

Refresh. The MFP Device grid will populate with the known KFS MFP device list.

Default Settings - Test Creation Page

The default settings will create three separate tests for each selected MFP device:

1. Ping an MFP device.
2. Check MFP device status using OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.5.1. Expected value is ‘2’ for running status.
3. Check for MFP device errors using OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.25.3.2.1.6.1. Expected value is ‘0’ for no errors since last device power on reset (POR).

Manual Settings - Test Definition Page

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.
