Kofax Communications Server Applications Component

The Kofax Communications Server Applications component enables you to test the KCS Applications for application operations and throughput.

Test KCS Applications

Settings Page

Select what to test. Select the type of applications Test:

• Check KCS application status
• Check KCS application message rate is too low
• Check KCS application message count is too high

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

• Application Status to Alert On. Select the application status values to alert on.
• Computer Name. Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the target computer.
• Credentials. Enter the authentication information for the target computer. The Windows account should have local administrator rights on the target computer.
• KCS Application Server. Select the Refresh button to show a list of available KCS Application Servers.
• KCS Application. Select the Refresh button to show a list of available KCS applications.
• Threshold. Enter the appropriate threshold value.

Test Definition Page

• Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.
• Test Description. Text automatically generated from your selections.
• Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.

This is the end of the Test. Choose to add another Test or end the KCS Application component section of the Wizard.
