IBM FileNet P8 Client Access Component

The IBM FileNet P8 Process Engine Processing component enables you to test the IBM FileNet P8 Client Access.

Test Client Access

Settings Page

Select what to test. Select the type of client access Test:

• Check FileNet Workplace Login 
• Check FileNet Workplace XT Login
• Check FileNet Content Navigator Login

Depending on the Test selection, complete the following input:

Computer Name. Enter the Host Name or IP Address of the target computer.

Credentials. Enter the authentication information for the target computer application.

Desktop. Enter the name of the desktop to access for this Test.

Expected Response. Case sensitive expected test responses for each step of the login/logoff process. The default values are for unmodified Workplace and Workplace XT applications.

Use SSL. Select if using secure socket layer (HTTPS) protocol.

Test Definition Page

Resource Name. The name of the Monitor Resource associated with the Test.

Test Description.  Text automatically generated from your selections.

Expected Response. The expected response for this Test. (Limited to 255 characters.)

Turn On Debug Messages. Enable to generate debug level messages during Test execution.

Output Metric(s). (Optional) Select a Metric to evaluate and track Test results.

Run the Test. Add the Test. Adjust the Time Out value if needed. Click Next.
