About the Documentum Version 5 Plus Wizard

The Documentum Version 5 Plus Wizard has adds enhanced support for the Documentum D5 Platform. The Documentum Version 5 Plus Wizard extends the coverage beyond the Content Server (CS):

• Enhanced Accelerated Content Servers (ACS)
• Enhanced Content Server (CS) capabilities
• Enhanced Full Text Indexing Server
• Enhanced Business Process Services (BPS)
• Enhanced Webtop Application

Installation Requirements

The Documentum Version 5 Plus Wizard requires the following:

• Documentum Foundation Classes (DFC) Version 5.35 SP3 or later SP on the Reveille server.

Documentum 5 Platform Coverage

A high-level summary of wizard capabilities for each Documentum component is provided below.

Accelerated Content Server (ACS)

• Allows testing of the ACS Status URL.

Content Server (CS)

• Checks a Connection Broker Connection.
• Checks results from a Documentum Query Language (DQL) Query.
• Allows you to specify and test individual Connection Brokers before logging into a repository.
• Allows testing of the total number of sessions, the number of active sessions, and the number of active sessions by username.
• Client Simulation with individual tests – Create/Check In/Check Out/Delete documents with create/delete folder option – with selectable response times per test.
• Allows you to select a file for the above Create document test, then optionally set the appropriate document type/content type.
• Allows different logins for different doc bases – Repository1, user1/password1; Repository2, user2/password2, and so on.

Full Text Indexing

• Checks Indexing status/queue levels from various DQL Queries. One DQL query should have a “SEARCH DOCUMENT CONTAINS” clause for the query to test full-text indexed documents.  

Business Process Services (BPS)

• Allows testing of the HTTP listener and remote message processor.

Webtop

• Allows testing of the Webtop application log-in.
