Customizing the Monitor Application Diagram Display

You can customize the individual Resource boxes displayed in the Monitor application diagram. This includes modifying the text, font family and size, selecting an image, and setting the orientation and shape of a Resource box.

To customize a specific Resource box in the Monitor application diagram:

1. From the Left Navigational Pane, select a Monitor.  On the right, the Diagram tab displays the application diagram for the selected Monitor.
2. In the Diagram tab, click the Edit link. The application diagram changes to edit mode.
3. Right-click a Resource to display its customization options window.Then modify any of the following.

   Text. The text to be displayed on the Resource box.

   Font Family. Choose from Arial, Arial Black, Comic Sans MS, Courier New, Georgia, Lucida Sans Unicode, Times New Roman, Trebuchet MS, or Verdana.

   Font Size. Choose a font size of 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 36, 48, or 72.

   Bold. Select the check box to display the text in bold face.

   Image. Click the browse button to select an image to display on the Resource box.

   Orientation. Choose either a Horizontal or Vertical orientation for the Resource box.

   Shape. Customize the Resource box shape by selecting either Default, Rectangle, Ellipse, BoxBarTop, BoxBarBottom, BoxBarLeft, BoxBarRight, RoundBarTop, RoundBarBottom, RoundBarLeft, RoundBarRight, Bulging, or Skewed.

4. Click Closeto save your settings and return to the Monitor application diagram.
