Modify the Font Used

You can change the font used in the Reveille Admin console and Log Viewer.  The Font and Reset Font options are located on both the View menu and its toolbar.

Note: Changing or resetting the font requires restarting the Reveille Admin console in order for the changes to take effect.

Set the Refresh Interval Rate

The bottom right corner of the Reveille Admin console window displays the date and time it was last updated (for example, when it last retrieved data from the back-end database).

Click the update time field to view a list of update interval options and the current selection.

  • To change the update interval, click the new option to select it.
  • To force an immediate update, click the Refresh toolbar button (or press F5).

Note: If the update interval is set for an extended period, always refresh the Reveille Admin console data before carrying out a major operation (for example, copying/pasting a Monitor, changing Resources, and so on).

Disable the Rich Client Visual Experience

To disable various visual effects in Reveille Admin console, including fade in and fade out of Monitor or Group diagrams, select View; then select Disabling Rich Client Visual Experience. This can be used to avoid the visual artifacts that occur when using Windows Remote Desktop (RDP) or other remote computer access software.
