Reveille Connectors

Reveille Software provides an integrated notification subsystem. Support teams can build and maintain different support schedules through the Reveille User Console. Reveille can automatically inform specific support resources if a problem has been detected and escalate the awareness based on the incident severity. The support resources are also optionally informed automatically when a problem has been corrected. Numerous notification methods are provided:

  • Really Simple Syndication (RSS)
  • Short Message Service (SMS) text paging
  • Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) e-mail
  • Internet Paging (Provider dependent)
  • Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) traps
  • Windows Event Log
  • Web Services
  • File Log

In addition, optional connectors are available for these infrastructure management providers:

  • CA NSM (Unicenter)
  • HP Operations Center (OpenView)
  • IBM Tivoli Enterprise Console (TEC)
  • Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)

With these optional connectors, Reveille Software alerts can feed the existing infrastructure management console - allowing IT administrators / business operations to have a “single pane of glass”. They can monitor business critical ECM applications from the lowest level hardware information captured by monitoring utilities provided by server hardware vendors, up through operating systems alerts, and concluding with true ECM applications service level analysis.
