Reveille Management Console for Documentum
Reveille Management Console integrates comprehensively with EMC® Documentum® D5 / D6.x to provide real-time Documentum monitoring for critical components and processes. The management console monitors each key component to proactively and automatically diagnose and repair the cause of a problem. Additionally, Documentum customers are able to monitor actual end-user experiences and service levels within Documentum Webtop and TaskSpace-based applications, and gain visibility into Documentum capacity planning and virtualization.
Documentum line of business owners are provided with an automated experience and performance management solution that provides:
- A graphical dashboard view, which consolidates the real-time status of Documentum components with actual user experience and business metrics.
- A notification engine, which sends real-time notifications and alerts via email, mobile devices, RSS and other methods regarding business metrics and application performance measurement.
- Reporting capabilities, which include up-to-the-minute service level agreement (SLA) status.
- Monitors for all Documentum Webtop and TaskSpace transactions, providing Documentum-specific analysis, including transaction volumes, user activity, and Docbase/Repository activity.
- Supports both Single Sign On (SSO) enabled Content Servers and Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encrypted Documentum transactions.
As the only agentless application monitoring system to integrate with Documentum and Documentum xCelerated Composition Platform (xCP), Reveille Management Console comes pre-configured for the following components and services:
- Accelerated Content Server
- Branch Office Caching Services
- Business Process Services
- Content Servers
- Foundation Services
- Full Text Indexing
- Messaging Services
- Process Integrator
- TaskSpace

Reveille not only monitors the Documentum environment, but also can be expanded to monitor the extended business system built around the Documentum implementation. This includes the ability to monitor partner WDK applications, custom DFS (SOA) applications, and the ability to monitor business systems with which D6 is integrated via direct database interaction, loosely coupled file movement, or WSDL-based Web Services—providing a complete service level view of the entire business process.
